What is HKCAAVQ?
The Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications (HKCAAVQ) is Hong Kong's statutory accreditation authority under the Hong Kong Qualifications Framework (HKQF) and the Qualifications Register authority. Accreditation provides independent quality assurance within its stated scope; it is not a promise of recognition for every job, professional membership or further-study application.
What is the Hong Kong Qualifications Framework (HKQF)?
The HKQF has seven levels. A QF level describes the depth and complexity of learning; QF credits describe its volume, and the award title describes the qualification's nature and field. Level 3 alone does not establish that this certificate is equivalent to a whole HKDSE qualification or satisfies a particular admission requirement. A course accredited at QF Level 3 means it has been rigorously assessed for:
- Course content and learning outcomes
- Trainer qualifications and experience
- Assessment methods and quality assurance
- Facilities and learning resources
- Governance and financial sustainability
What is the Qualifications Register (QR)?
The Qualifications Register (QR) is the official public database maintained by the Hong Kong Government where all HKQF-recognised qualifications are listed. Anyone can search and verify a qualification's accreditation status at hkqr.gov.hk.
Easy Solution (Hong Kong) Limited's AI Chatbots certificate is listed on the QR with registration number 25/001160/L3. This means the course is independently verifiable by employers, universities, and government departments.
Why does accreditation matter?
For students
A verified QR entry helps you check the exact award, provider, level and validity period before paying. Accreditation and the usefulness of a course for your own work are separate questions. Before choosing a course:
- Compare the published learning outcomes and assessment with your work needs
- Ask the relevant professional body whether it accepts the course for its own continuing education requirements
- Check the separate CEF course registration and your personal eligibility; QF status alone does not approve funding
- Ask the receiving institution about admission or credit transfer; progression is not automatic
For employers
Employers can use the QR entry and assessed learning outcomes as part of their evaluation, alongside experience and demonstrated work. Employer acceptance is their own decision. Company training grants require separate scheme, course and applicant checks; this certificate's QF or CEF status does not establish NITTP eligibility.
How Easy Solution got accredited
Easy Solution (Hong Kong) Limited underwent a two-stage accreditation process:
1. Institutional Evaluation (IE) — HKCAAVQ assessed our organisation as a training provider, examining our governance, financial stability, quality assurance systems, and facilities at Room 533B, Star House, Tsim Sha Tsui.
2. Course Accreditation — Our Certificate in Leveraging AI Chatbots Implementation for Small Business was assessed for its curriculum, learning outcomes, assessment design, and trainer qualifications. The course was accredited at QF Level 3 and listed on the QR.
Easy Solution was previously an EDB-registered private school before transitioning to its current status as an HKCAAVQ-accredited continuing education institution.
Which courses are accredited?
Our AI Chatbots certificate is accredited at QF Level 3 (QR No. 25/001160/L3) and has been approved as a CEF reimbursable course on 27 Aug 2026 (valid to 31 Aug 2027) — CEF provides a lifetime subsidy cap of HK$25,000, subject to individual eligibility, remaining allowance and approval.
